Winter, On Tour, Gets A Nod From LA Record
LA Record recommends Ethereality by Winter, an album the magazine calls “an earnest attempt to find kindred spirits” by singer/songwriter Samira Winter. Comparing Winter to peak-era Weezer, Pavement, The Breeders, and Beach House, the review opines, “Ethereality is based on an artful examination of post-millennial emotional confusion. This generation is becoming very able at presenting a calm demeanor that masks the chaos just beneath the surface, and Winter expresses the beauty and turmoil of lives lived today.” Read it here.
