WUOG Reviews Sonny Smith

Though it’s an “ode to the era of sunshine pop and budding psychedelia,” writes Athens, GA-based station WUOG about Sonny Smith‘s Rod For your Love, “the album conveys more than just good vibrations.” Smith, who has previously released music as Sonny and The Sunsets and worked with The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach on this album, chose to make a “straightforward, guitar-driven rock album.” According to WUOG, it works quite well!
