Naked Giants Rock The Current

“When we travel, I think people want to believe [grunge is] still alive,” Naked Giants bassist Gianni Aiello recently told The Current. “It’s kind of fun to be a three-piece rick band from Seattle and convince people, ‘No man, rock and roll, grunge, it’s all still there, man.'” Aiello was speaking during the trio’s recent performance for the station, which took place earlier this year. The band blazed through performances of “Dead Alien,” “Everybody Thinks They Know (But No One Really Knows),” and “Sluff,” all of which are on their debut LP. Enjoy the session here.

Sluff is at radio now, and Naked Giants will do a short tour of the US once they return from their current European tour with Car Seat Headrest.
