The Art of LA has a full-EP stream of Villains, the newest release from Mainland. The site quotes the band’s singer, Jordan Topf, who explains that “During the process of writing these songs I was going through several degrees of push and pull in my love life. We’ve all felt like the villain or the bad cop in a relationship. In my case, there was pointing of fingers, a rush of emotional peaks and valleys, and feelings of guilt for mistakes made.
