Going For Adds – Punch Brothers Antifogmatic

Last week you should have received the sophomore album from Punch Brothers, Antifogmatic.

From their stellar appearance at Bonnaroo (stream the set here) to the performance of their song “Rye Whiskey” on the Tonight Show with Jay Lenolast week, the guys are celebrating the release of their new Nonesuch record everywhere.  If you haven’t had a chance to check out this genre-bending string band, please do; you’ll be glad you did.  Let us know if you need another download link.

Fun fact: Antifogmatic is titled after an alcoholic drink from the 19th century that supposedly cured the effects of fog and other inclement weather. Band memberChris Thile (former mandolinist and vocalist for Nickel Creek) says of the title, “…This batch of tunes could be used in much the same way, and includes some characters who would probably benefit mightily, if temporarily, from a good antifogmatic.”
