Catching up with Graham

I recently went out to hot and humid Chicago for the Pitchfork Music Festival. Highlights of the trip: Pavement, Lightning Bolt, stumbling upon a free T.P. Orchestre Poly-Rythmo concert at Millenium Park, picking up some great new publications at Chris Ware’s Quimby’s Bookstore, and finally checking out the Art Institute’s museum. Last Wednesday I saw the Dead Weather put on a fantastically heavy rock and roll show at the Palladium. This past weekend I checked out the inspiring John Baldessari exhibit at LACMA.
