Catching Up With Graham

Posted on Jan 11, 2011

Happy New Year! Hope you had a wonderful holiday season and that 2011 has been treating you well so far. I’m recharged (aside from the jet lag) from a fantastic vacation to United Kingdom. My good friends Dave and Helen were getting married in Wales and I had the honor of being one of the groomsmen. A good group of people stayed in Wales through New Years. I went to my first rugby match and walked along the seaside. After New Years a buddy and I flew up to Edinburgh to tour Scotland for a week. Our journey took us to Loch Ness where we found the Boleskine House that was the estate of Aleister Crowley and later owned by Jimmy Page. We also toured Inverness, Isle of Skye, Fort William, Glen Coe, Oban, and the Glenkinchie Distillery. 23 types of Scotch were tasted. I had a last supper in Scotland of Haggis, Neeps, and Tatties. We flew back to London, toured Parliament, and pulled one last all nighter full of curry, graffiti, and other shenanigans before flying back home to The States. Vacation reading: 17 by Bill Drummond – absolutely brilliant. Here I am in front of Eilean Donan Castle, home of the Clan MacRae.

Cheers!
