Björk’s “Crystalline” – Download And Spin

Björk continues to tease audiences with news on her groundbreaking album,Biophilia. The first single, “Crystalline”, is a haunting track that combines a subtle blend of organic and electronic sounds, featuring one of several custom-made instruments created for the multi-dimensional album. Check out this clip of the “gameleste”. To construct this instrument she enlisted the help of cymbalsmiths and organ-makers.

In touring news, Björk is bringing Biophilia to her hometown of Reykjavik, Iceland in October for the Iceland Airwaves Festival. More details about the “visuals, sounds and even viruses” of the upcoming performance at Harpa Concert Hall can be found here.
