I’ve been cramming in lots of adventures into this last month of summer. Last week I sadly watched the Dodgers get swept by the Phillies, though I did enjoy seeing both Roy Halladay and Cliff Lee pitch and I also got a Duke Snider Bobbblehead. A group of old friends went down to Seal Beach to hang out for the day. Andy B and I swept the competition in shuffleboard. Last night I had a fantastic dinner and went out to see Death to Anders and Califone at The Satellite.
New music! Masok (@Raw_Tapes) goes for adds next week with #ChallengeAccepted. The quartet has always laughed off genre labels, and with this LP they’ve created an immersive swirl of dance-oriented sounds.
