Björk’s “Hollow” video on All Songs Considered
Björk‘s latest project, Biophillia, has incorporated apps, newly created instruments, and more to explore the relationship between technology and nature. In her new music video for “Hollow,” Björk continues her journey by commissioning biomedical animator Drew Berry to show molecular structures on a submicroscopic level. Björk‘s haunting vocals and percussive organ serve as a backdrop to the visual simulations of cells and DNA strands bending to form life.
