Seattle’s Brite Futures have just released a new music video for “Test of Time,”off their latest, Dark Past. The star-studded clip features the band rubbing elbows with some of Hollywood’s elite celebrites at an intimate dinner party hosted by the band. To watch the clip, click here. The band returned from SXSW a couple weeks ago and their record is still charting with many stations – give the record a spin this week.

The record is both ethereal and grounded, evoking a deep sense of introspection and blending narrative lyrics with one-take lead vocal performances, cinematic arrangements, rich soundscapes, and lush orchestration. Vollebekk – who self-produced and plays piano, guitar, bass, B3 organ, harmonica, accordion and Moog synthesizer – compiled an impressive supporting cast including drummer Jim Keltner, steel guitarist Cindy Cashdollar (Bob Dylan, Van Morrison and Rod Stewart), and bassist Shahzad Ismaily. The album was mixed by Tchad Blake (Tom Waits, Arctic Monkeys, Tracy Chapman) and mastered by Greg Calbi.
