Caveman: Old Friend IFC Premiere
Just yesterday, a new video for Caveman‘s “Old Friend” went online on IFC.com. The video features the song “Old Friend” fading in and out throughout the 8-minute video, featuring a few band members, and the voice of Peter Sarsgaard. The opening of the video is filmed to mimic something of a television horror series of the late ’50s and early ’60s and includes all the classic Hitchcockian elements — old houses, a staircase, people in wigs, and even a couple blonde women. This unique imagining of “Old Friend” compliments the song’s tone and ambience, so much that it would make “Rod Serling feel warm all over”.
