Ry Cooder on Tavis Smiley

Ry Cooder's Election Special arrived just in time for the RNC in Florida. If you missed it, Cooder shared his thoughts on the Republican Party over at The Guardian just before the release of the record. Then on Labor Day, when most of America took the day off, Cooder appeared on PBS's Tavis Smiley to discuss Election Special, today's political climate, and how music and media react to political messages like his. He then joined Smiley on his PRI-syndicated radio talk show Smiley and West which he co-hosts with world renowned Dr. Cornel West.
