John Cale Performs on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon
The new album from legendary music innovator John Cale was a critical favorite in 2012. Cale recently graced Jimmy Fallon with a visit to his Late Show where he performed the opening track from Shifty Adventures in Nookie Wood, “I Wanna Talk 2 U”. The performance can be seen on that night’s episode, which you can stream here. Cale was kind enough to offer another song once the show ended – Velvet Underground classic, “Venus In Furs”. The song’s ominous percussion and uniquely pitched viola is as stirring as it was the first time you heard it, watch the performance here.
