Yellow Red Sparks – Daytrotter Session
While on tour last fall, Yellow Red Sparks made a stop in Illinois to record a rousing Daytrotter session which included three songs from their self-titled debut and one unreleased track. Daytrotter writes of songwriter Joshua Hanson‘s storytelling lyrics: “He creates people who want the good life, but there’s no sure way to arrive at it.” The live performance conveys the same longing with shards of despair that the eleven songs on the new album reflect.
