Tarmac Adam Absolutepunk Album Review
Thanks to all of the stations that reported Tarmac Adam as one of their Top 5 Adds this past week. The group uses the twelve songs on The History Effect to meditate on time and life. The tracks have a confident, but never overbearing, tone with enough pop sensibilities to have you humming the tunes long after they’re over. Bassist Nick Seymour (Crowded House) serves as the backbone to each song, bridging the melodies and arrangements prepared by vocalist Matt O’Donnell and guitarist Steve Paix. Absolutepunk recently praised the album for its “Laurel Canyon soundscapes” & “cinematic” qualities, noting “You As Me”, “Seven Days”, & “Window Pane” as standouts. Read the full review here.
