The Little Ones Debut – #51 at CMJ!
The newest record from The Little Ones is quickly taking off with stations. The immediate quality of “Argonauts” sets the tone for one of the most diverse indie pop records you’ll hear this year. Caribbean rhythms, West African guitar, twee tones, and Beach Boys sensibilities are wrapped with the production work of UK jangle-pop torchbearer David Newton of The Mighty Lemon Drops. Station favorites have been “Boy On Wheels” & “Forro” but the record is chalk full of jams.
