Sam Amidon Pitchfork Album Review

London by-way-of Vermont artist Sam Amidon may have released his best album yet. Bright Sunny South is a just continuation of his musical practice whose use of isolation is underlined by the production of Jerry Boys (Vashti Bunyan). After streaming the album in full, Pitchfork gave the record a positive album review saying Amidon distinguishes himself from his peers by taking “liberties with the country’s past in order to document his own personal present.” Read the full review here.
