Cloud Control – Going for Adds

Cloud Control‘s highly anticipated sophomore album, Dream Cave, will be released September 17th in the US. Their first single from their follow-up to Bliss Release, “Dojo Rising”, received high praise; Pitchfork called it “a fine downer hymn, [with] a small, grey, circling cloud of tremulous guitar and steady, splattering cymbals.” Cloud Control‘s newest Dream Cave offering is “Scar”, which premiered on SPIN. The Brit-pop percussion and powerful vocals on “Scar” might make it eligible as a last quarter summer jam, as it seems ideal for rolling down the windows and taking a drive before the summer sun sets for the season. Both “Scar” and “Dojo Rising” can be found on the Dream Cave (Sampler), as well as a radio edit of “Dojo Rising”.
