Cass McCombs: At Triple A Radio – Tour Dates – Pitchfork Album Review

Cass McCombs will head out on tour this month in support of his double album, Big Wheel and Others. The album is a bundle of 22 songs that includes, in varying degrees, genres of: road songs, rock songs, folk songs, blues songs, country songs, rhythm and blues songs, skronk non-songs, cinema songs, cult songs, poem songs, jams, and ballads. The album has gotten tons of support and positive reviews from around the country. “Over the last decade, McCombs has been a remarkably consistent songwriter [and] he’s quietly become one of America’s finest chroniclers of fringe characters, a writer of heart-rending love songs and psychedelic odes to the natural world, a teller of tall-tales with a sense of humor dry as desert wood, and that rare folksinger who actually sings about the folk,” says Pitchfork. You can read the entire review here. Check below for McCombs’ tour dates and keep spinning Big Wheel and Others.
