New Music from Buxton – Digital Servicing Only

Buxton is a group from Houston, TX led by Sergio Trevino who are getting ready to release their third record, Half A Native, on New West Records next month. Dusty tones, shuffling rhythms, and lonesome acoustic affairs make up most of the LP. Compared to their past work, the new album is more freewheeling and absorbs more of the atmosphere that recording with Thom Monahan (Devendra Banhart, Vetiver, Beachwood Sparks, Sera Cahoone) had to offer. Decamped in Los Angeles for the recording process, Half A Native is the group’s most realized album to date.
