CMJ Premieres DTCV’s “X-Water” Music Video

The 4th studio album by DTCV (pronounced detective) has landed at radio and is off to a fast start. Stations like WCSB, WMCX,KTCU, KVCU, KVRX, & WTSR gave it top Add honors. The record’s hush, dreamy vocals from singer Vivarock have led to comparisons to Dum Dum Girls‘ Dee Dee Penny and Sonic Youth‘s Kim Gordon. The track “X-Water” is a prime example of that, and Vivarock even directed the video for it. The footage was shot during a trip to Milan. CMJ had the premiere for the “cooly incongruous” here, watch the video below.

The band wrapped up their tour in Las Vegas yesterday; give them a debut on Tuesday.
