Complete Strangers by Vetiver Reviewed by The 405 & MusicOMH – New CMJ Peak

With a US tour fastly approaching, Vetiver is making a run for the top of the CMJ Radio 200 chart. The latest album by Andy Cabic & Co. reached another peak on the chart, landing at #38. For those that missed it, “Vetiver‘s sixth album is a smooth, steady unfurling of understated jangle, celestial hum and whispery self-contemplation”. The 405 described the record as “somewhere between the woozy glamour of The Pastels and the easygoing glide of Real Estate“. Read the full review here. MusicOMH touched up on this in their review saying, “over the course of several listens each song enjoys time as being considered the highpoint of the album only for another track to supplant it soon after.”
