LA-based duo POWERS has exploded virally over the past couple of weeks with their infectious pop single “Beat of My Drum,” which hit number one at Hype Machine and has quickly amassed more than 100,000 listens on both SoundCloud and Spotify. “Beat Of My Drum” is a fun and lively disco-tinged song, filled with hypnotic buildups that lead into a relentlessly catchy chorus, and is a perfect follow up to the group’s previous genre-bending singles “Money” and “Gimme Some.”
