Sam Cohen Goes Off Track, Gets Reviewed by Last Week’s Album

Sam Cohen, the multifaceted multi-instrumentalist whose solo debut Cool It is at CMJ Radio 200 for a fourth week in a row, has done session work for the likes of Shakira, had scary experiences in the New York subway, and toured the nation in a school bus powered by vegetable oil. He talks about all of this in a longform audio interview for Going Off Track that he recently participated in with his friend and fellow Berkelee School of Music alum Jonah. Listen here.

Last Week’s Album has posted an extensive video review of Cool It, comparing the album to “Taking a timeout at a planetarium, [with] rocking Grateful Dead-inspired tunes and a light show” and “The Beatles chilling out with Temples.” Watch the thorough review here.
