Fool’s Gold Impresses Ear to the Ground: “First great album of 2015.” AV Club Debuts Single “Wildflower”

Ear to the Ground Music is enamored by Fool’s Gold‘s new LP, Flying Lessons, calling it “the first great album of 2015.” Reviewer Matt Simon says it’s the kind of album that “makes you wonder how you ever existed without it… Flying Lessons,” he writes, “will speak to musical tastes across the various musical landscape before eventually ending up on the top album lists in December.” Simon details many of the songs on the album, which “will make you glad you’re alive.” Read the entirety of the effusive review, which includes an embed of the “I’m In Love” video, here.

A month before the album’s official release in May, the band teamed up with Record Store Day to release a limited-edition vinyl version. The AV Club detailed that special edition, and premiered the album cut “Wildflower,” here.

Flying Lessons cracked the CMJ Radio 200‘s Top 40 this past week and is seeking a new peak! The album is perfect for summertime listening, so get it into rotation today.
