POWERS Goes For Adds With “Loved By You”

Comprised of Alex Da Kid protégé Del Rio and accomplished songwriter Crista Ru, LA-based duo POWERS takes inspiration from a “collage” philosophy while maintaining deep roots in traditional songwriting. They charted internationally last year with their collaboration with the Knocks on “Classic,” and they exploded online this spring with “Beat of My Drum,” which hit number one at Hype Machine and the Spotify Viral Charts. 

“Beat of My Drum” is being released by B3SCI as a Double A Side with “Loved By You,” an equally upbeat and rich song that blends pop, disco, and electronica influences to craft a danceable track that will hook listeners immediately. While Del Rio held down the vocal duties on “Beat of My Drum,” “Loved By You” features Ru in the lead singer’s role on a track that continues the group’s run of genre-bending and life-affirming singles. Upon its release, “Loved by You” joined “Beat of My Drum” on the Hype Machine, where both songs currently sit in the top ten.
