Aqueduct’s Wild Knights is City Arts’ “Album of the Month,” Debuts in the CMJ Top 100

Seattle’s City Arts selected Aqueduct‘s Wild Knights as its “Album of the Month” for July, writing that “the songs are great and the record is magnetic.” Reviewer Jonathan Zwickel has a long history with the band, having interviewed mastermind David Terry years ago during the beginning of his music journalism career. On Wild Knights, he says, “Terry deploys hooks inside hooks inside hooks in ear-sticky concentric circles, yielding an embarrassment of melody, vocal and instrumental. As if there’s too much melody to contain inside him.” Read the entire feature, including a stream of “The Ballad of Barbarella,” here.

Aqueduct debuted on the CMJ Radio 200 chart at #89! Thanks to stations like KCSB, KUMD, KTCU, and KFSR for giving the record big spins. Keep it up!
