Tobias the Owl Gets Personal with Practice Sessions and Plastic Jet Airline

Tobias the Owl may be a new name to many, but Elijah Dhawan – the man behind the moniker – is familiar around the Pacific Northwest as a troubadour, collaborator, and central member of an acoustic music scene. Earlier this year, he performed for Practice Sessions, a Seattle-based live music series, and the video is here. Don’t expect to see Dhawan’s face in the video, however – the camera shy artist specifically requested that it wouldn’t be shown!

Fans can see his face in an interview that he did last year with Plastic Jet Airline. In his thoughtful answers, Dhawan shares his love for the city of Seattle, tells about how a cancer diagnosis ended up reinvigorating his songwriter and career, and explains what it’s like to have his music covered by other artists he admires.
