Young Empires Release “The Gates” Video, Prepare For Tour

Toronto-based three-piece Young Empires is gearing up for the release of their first full-length album next month and have dropped a new video for titular track “The Gates.” The video for the dramatic, synth-pop anthem, which can be seen here on Exclaim!, is full of naturalistic scenes that are intercut with images of regular people engaged in devout religious exercises. As Exclaim! says, “‘The Gates’ contains the lyric ‘heaven is a place I just can’t find,’ but the accompanying video shows that it can be found right here on earth.”

 

The band kicks off a North American tour next month in support of the full-length The Gates LP. Check below for the dates:
