CMJ College Radio Award Nominations Close on Wednesday – Nominate Erik Felix!

For the past several years, I’ve had the distinct pleasure of working with Erik Felix here in our office in Eagle Rock, California. He’s a tremendous asset to our work here at A man A plan A canal because, in addition to possessing an encyclopedic knowledge of independent music both past and present, he’s a true lover of people who genuinely relishes the connections that he makes with artists and promoters.

And that’s why it was so appropriate last year when the CMJ Panel honored Erik with a nomination for Promoter of the Year at the 2014 CMJ College Radio Awards. Even though he didn’t win, it was great to see him get a bit of acknowledgement for the efforts he puts into his job here. And of course, we’d all love to see Erik’s name in the running again, which is why we’re asking everyone to please consider making Erik your nominee for Promoter of the Year in 2015. To get to know Erik a little better, check out this profile on the CMJ website that was posted in advance of last year’s Marathon.
