Futurebirds Share “Deadbeat Hits” with WSJ, Tour US
According to band member Carter King, the new Futurebirds single “Deadbeat Hits” is “[a] little bit of satire about the desire to record a smash hit, get treated like gods, and start acting like [jerks].” That quote is from a recent Wall Street Journal piece on the band, which includes the new video for the song in question. Watch the video, here, to catch a glimpse of the band recording in the studio, getting silly with a tire swing, golfing badly, and generally raising a ruckus in the wilderness of rural Georgia.
