Earmilk and PureVolume Showcase the Electric Sons

The Electric Sons, a powerful electronic indie pop project out of Atlanta, have been turning heads with the release of their new EP Golden Age. According to Earmilk, which premiered lead track “Into the Night” and said it “showcases much of what fans have come to expect from The Electric Sons while also edging towards a more refined sound. Centered around a sing-along chorus, ‘Into The Night’ keeps its momentum rolling, only letting off as the song fades.” This huge, anthemic song has been stuck in our heads for a while now, and fans of catchy earworms can get similarly addicted here.

The entirety of Golden Age is currently streaming on PureVolume, which also includes some quotes from the band that illuminate the process behind the EP. Apparently, the band was almost finished with another collection of songs when inspiration hit in the form of two new songs, “Reappear” and “Golden Age,” that forced them to change gears and scrap the whole project for something new. “They were so different from the rest of the finished tracks that it didn’t make sense to include them… It was scary – we’d made promises to people to have something out but we knew that we wouldn’t be satisfied if we didn’t chase down the rest of this new EP.” Hear the final results here or below.
