Lianne La Havas, Nominated for a Grammy, Plays Morning Becomes Eclectic and Goes on Tour

There’s only way to explain why we’re only passing along Lianne La Havas’ recent performance on KCRW‘s Morning Becomes Eclectic now – it’s because she’s been up to so many amazing things over the past few months, from jamming with Jon Batiste on the Late Show to being included on a Spotify playlist curated by President Obama, that it’s been hard to keep up with her. Yet this performance, recorded in October, is not to be missed. Over seven songs, six of which are from her current LP Blood, the sultry and soulful chanteuse displays her graceful talent in a way that will melt the hearts of anyone who has yet to be wooed by her sound. Watch it below.

Blood has been nominated for a Grammy in the Best Urban Contemporary Album category, much to the singer’s surprise. In celebration, she’s scheduled a short solo tour. Catch one of these intimate, stripped-down shows this February:
