LA Times Recommends Star Wars Headspace; Flying Lotus Talks to Apple Music

The LA Times says that Star Wars Headspace is “essential,” calling it “a bleep and bloop party.” Executive produced by Rick Rubin, the album features Star Wars-themed beats by the likes of Flying Lotus, Shlohmo, Kaskade, and Baauer. According to the Times, “each of the 15 tracks is distinctive,” and “the force is strong with this one.” Check out the review here.

Before the album’s release, Flying Lotus spoke to Apple Music‘s Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 radio show. In the interview, which Pitchfork posted last month, FlyLo previews the album and explains how flattered he is to be part of the record and how connected he feels to the Star Wars universe. Check out the feature, here, which includes music from the LP.
