Pitchfork Premieres DTCV Video
Pitchfork has premiered the new video from DTCV, the fuzzy, French pop-inspired post-punk band from ex-Guided by Voices member James Greer and vocalist Lola G. The band didn’t just get anyone to throw together the clip for “Historie Seule,” which opens their new album Confusion Moderne; rather, they enlisted Oscar-winning director Steven Soderbergh (Traffic, The Knick, Ocean’s Eleven) to create a visual collection that juxtapose images of America’s bucolic past with images of its modern, mass-produced present. Check it out here or below:
DTCV had a strong adds week last week, and music directors around North America are telling us how thoroughly they’ve been enjoying Confusion Moderne. Get it playing on your station and help the band have a great debut at Radio 200!
