Naked Giants is The End’s Artist Of The Month

Seattle’s Naked Giants are having a banner year, having just released their debut EP Easy Eating and completed their first tour. Now, the band has been honored by Seattle’s 107.7 The End as April’s Locals Only Artist of the Month.

In a feature on The End’s website, bandmember Henry LaVallee talks in-depth about the band’s influences and formation. He specifically cites Jimi Hendrix as a huge inspiration, and explains how the band has helped him find purpose and friendship. “After we graduated high school,” LaVallee says, “I texted [singer/guitarist[ Grant Mullen and said, ‘Listen, performing with Naked Giants is the best feeling ever.’ I am pretty bad with relationships, but I am really good with my band. It is everything and so nice and real, and I don’t really know how to even phrase it.” Read the whole thing here.
