Beyond The Sound Interviews Wages, Buzzbands Premieres “Rattlesnake”

Beyond The Sound recently interviewed Wages members Nick Byron Campbell and James DeDakis about the band’s new LP, Glace. The interview is full of insights, as the band explains its varied process for writing songs and creating a dynamic “flow” to their releases. According to Campbell, the band’s adopted home of Los Angeles is “inspiring” because it is a “really open place artistically now, [and] there aren’t many limits to what’s considered acceptable or worth pursuing.” Read the whole interview right here.

Glace is a diverse collection that doesn’t fit nicely into any generic genre, but Buzzbands says the album’s opener is “as close to a pop single as Wages has ever released.” “Rattlesnake,” according to the site, is a “cathartic blast” that is ripe for “turning up the volume.” Listen below.
