NWMS Gushes Over Tobias The Owl
Northwest Music Scene calls Tobias The Owl‘s new LP “a beautiful piece of work.” The songs on Every Eye Is A Universe, the site contends, possess “skill and intimacy” and “go beyond the boundaries of the folk genre; they reach into a heart space that can’t be denied or disregarded.” Going on, the review praises “the pedigreed list of musicians, technicians and artists” who contributed to the making of the album, opining that “it’s understandable that so many people would want to contribute to such a masterful vision and distinct emotional expression of collective experience.” The review goes on to compare Tobias The Owl to John Prine and Emmylou Harris, noting that songwriter Elijah Dhavvan has listed both of them as influences.
