Elle and Stereogum Premiere KAYE’s “UUU”
“Beware,” warns Elle Magazine at the beginning of its premiere of KAYE’s new video. “If you watch this video, you’re going to suddenly need a skintight bronze catsuit.” The suit is worn by KAYE in the new clip, taken from her amazing new EP Honey. “I feel like my style is sort of glam tomboy,” the singer told the magazine. “I love wearing suits but giving them a subversive twist to make it a little feminine.” Enticed? Before the EP’s release, the track premiered on Stereogum. According to the site, “KAYE’s varying sensibilites combine wonderfully on this song, combining grungy bass, the ’80s dance pop of Paula Abdul, and intricate percussion as her voice playfully floats above.” Listen here.
