KCRW Premieres Video For Ablebody’s “Send Me A Letter”

KCRW has the premiere of “Send Me a Letter,” a single from Ablebody‘s Adult Contemporaries that features guest backing vocals from Sean Nicholas Savage. Writing about the video, DJ Marion Hodges says, “Get ready to lose yourself in it’s gloriously eerie night time beach setting, not to mention the glorious melody.” Hodges says she’s been a fan of Ablebody for years now, and compliments the duo of Christoph and Anton Hochheim for how they manage “to sound sophisticated, deeply romantic, whimsical, and enticingly sinister all at the same time.” Read the feature here, and watch the video below.

Adult Contemporaries is the debut full length from Ablebody, whose members were formerly part of the Depreciation Guild and are currently part of The Pains of Being Pure at Heart. Produced by Kenny Gilmore of Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, the LP is going for debuts at CMJ next week. Get it spinning now!
