San Fermin’s Ludwig-Leone Talks with opbmusic

Ellis Ludwig-Leone, the ringleader behind orchestral pop collective San Fermin, recently sat with opbmusic (Oregon Public Broadcasting) for a chat about his musical process and the way his songwriting priorities evolved between the band’s last album, Jackrabbit, and it’s new Belong LP. “The first record was very concept-y and the second record was pretty concept-y,” Ludwig-Leone told opbmusic, “and this third record I really just wanted to make 13 songs that stood on their own.”
