Camille Appears on PRI’s The World
Camille was featured on PRI‘s The World last week, talking about a new album “that is primitive and classical, yet modern and electronic.” OUÏ was an immediate chart-topper in Camille’s home country of France this summer, and the just-out Nonesuch edition is the renowned experimentalist’s first official US release. The World spoke to Camille about the textures and wordplay in her music, as well as the influence of Yoko Ono on her work and the feeling of recording in a 14th-century monastery.
