Pollyn Shares a Song with The FADER and an NSFW Video with Noisey

The FADER was the premiering website of “Too Late To Change The Past,” a Pollyn song that has been included in the career-spanning retrospective collection Here Lies Pollyn (2003-2016). Singer Genevieve Artadi told The FADER that the song is about “the guilt and fear of a woman who goes around leaving a trail of hurt behind her… She always plays it cool but is struggling with causing as much trouble as she does.” Listen here.

The set also includes “Dark Tokyo,” the strange and NSFW video for which premiered on Noisey in 2016. “Inspired by science fiction staples such as Jonathan Glazer’s Under the Skin and Akira,” writes Noisey, “the video tells the story of two people, one man and one woman, who fall in love (or, more aptly, lust) and quickly begin to devour each other the way love makes you do… it doesn’t end well.” Enjoy the entrancing animation here.
