Diffuser Lists The Magnetic Fields, The Flaming Lips, and Mount Eerie Among the Best of 2017

Three AmApAc artists were on Diffuser‘s list of the 25 best albums from 2017. On The Flaming LipsOczy Mlody, the site commented, “As they have done to brilliant effect time after time, the Flaming Lips again placed an overlay of Technicolored wonderland on the real world.” Writing about Mount Eerie‘s tragic A Crow Looked At Me, Diffuser said, “A stunning burst of human expression, the album is an unfettered depiction of how grief can obliterate the lives of the survivors, the ones left to struggle with the emptiness that permeates everything between mundane details and life’s weightiest matters.” Highest on the list was 50 Song Memoir from The Magnetic Fields, which Diffuser describes as “a scrapbook of emotions” from songwriter Stephin Merritt‘s life. We were really amazed to work all three of those albums last year, so we’re stoked to see them getting the praise they deserve!
