Simon Doom Speaks With The Young Folks

Simon Doom fans got a nice surprise earlier this year when the band (led by Simon O’Connor, who performs in MGMT‘s touring band) released a new single “Lucifer The Light Bearer.” They’ll be happy to know there’s more Simon Doom music on the way, at least according to a new interview O’Connor gave to The Young Folks. “There is more than an album written,” he told the site, teasing out more releases in the future. He also spoke to the site about his work in MGMT, and gave advice to songwriters facing rejection. The interview is available right here, and “Lucifer The Light Bearer” is still at radio!
