Inara George Discusses Loss With The SF Examiner

The San Francisco Examiner has a feature on Inara George‘s new solo album, Dearest Everybody. The album is pre-occupied with loss, as George explains to the Examiner: “The whole record is just different versions of saying goodbye to people, and there are only a few songs about my dad (Little Feat‘s Lowell George, who died when Inara was only five).” According to George, one main motivation behind the songs on the album is to try to relate musically to the personal losses that her friends have experienced.
