Alex Lilly, who’s set to hit the road with The Bird And The Bee and Samantha Sidley next week, recently gave an interview with VoyageLA. The site asked her about her artistic purpose, to which she replied, “This latest record feels like emotional paintball. After you’re done listening, I hope you feel covered in color and slightly tenderized! Why do I do this? It’s better than therapy and it’s better than drinking all the time. When I stop doing it, things get worse.” Uplifting!
