The Vinyl District Goes On A Date With Gregory Ackerman

In a First Date feature on The Vinyl District, Gregory Ackerman tells readers about his love for collecting records. Says Ackerman, “until about high school when I started writing and recording my own music,” records seemed like artifacts from a previous time. However, with recording “came the evaluation of sound and how you capture it and play it back. You always want it to sound the best, right? Well that’s right around when I started listening to vinyl. Once you start to take sound quality into account, there’s no going back.” The artist explains more about his love of the format in the feature, which also includes embeds of his “We’ve Got A Runner” and “Dawg” videos. Both tracks are featured on his new Stresslove EP, which is going for NACC chart debuts next week.
