Rolling Stone Touts Deap Lips

Rolling Stone has featured “Home Thru Hell,” the opening track on the upcoming Deap Lips LP. The venerable magazine tells readers that the collaborative group, which features members of Deap Vally and The Flaming Lips, “embarks on a psychedelic odyssey on their new song, ‘Home Thru Hell,’ [which]  opens with revving car engines and a heavy guitar riff, but soon settles into a spacey stomp peppered with strange flourishes, from big bells to vocoder-drenched vocals. Deap Vally’s Lindsey Troy and Julie Edwards share vocal duties, offering some cosmic introspection with some meta touches.”
